Brad Linde Quartet featuring Ted Brown

I have the distinct pleasure of playing two gigs in NYC with one of my improvising heroes, Ted Brown. Ted is a tenor saxophonist out of the Lester Young tradition and a spontaneous improviser like his colleagues from the Tristano School, Lee Konitz and Warne Marsh. Joining me and Ted for these quartet dates is Murray Wall-bass and Taro Okamoto-drums. Murray and Taro having been playing with Ted recently and were once the rhythm section of choice for Marsh.

Please come out to hear these amazing musicians improvise on and interpret standards, along with melodies by Brown, Konitz, Marsh, and Tristano.
